our-doctorsDr. Genine M. Befumo graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Biology in 1995 and from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. She completed a three year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ in 2002 and went into private practice a month later. Dr. Befumo is a current staff member of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Member of the NJ Podiatric Medical Society. She also enjoys traveling and photography


Dr. Mark J. Berger is a graduate of the State University of  New York at New Paltz with a BS in Biology and a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.   Dr. Berger completed his post graduate training at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mark J. Berger is a member of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society and a past president and former member of its Board of Trustees.  Additionally, as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, he has served as a member of its budget committee and House of Delegates.  Dr. Berger has been an active member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. As a member of its Board of Trustees, he functioned as its treasurer and as a member of the Exam Committee.  As an active participant in the American Association of Hospital Podiatrists he has served as its president and a member of the board. Dr. Berger's hobbies include photography, reading and biking.  In addition, he has completed six marathons and several triathalons.
